why we lOve bAllygarry estatE hOtel & spa
Before being repurposed as a luxury hotel, Ballygarry House was a family home. When the McGillicuddy family bought the estate in the 1950s, they aimed to maintain the feeling of ‘returning home’.
Now owned and operated by the third generation of the McGillicuddy family, that feeling still rings true. Despite the huge developments and renovations over the years, being a guest on the estate still means being welcomed into the extended Ballygarry family.
