The Cairngorms are home to a quarter of the rare and endangered species in the UK. The towering mountains and sprawling Caledonian forest are home to capercaillie, Scottish wildcats, golden eagles, red squirrels, red deer and more.

Nine National Nature Reserves across the park help to protect the wildlife and landscapes and give you the opportunity to get up close and personal with Scotland’s natural beauty.
