Our favourite Falconry Scotland Package is the Shieldaig Experience – it’s the perfect introduction to the art of falconry. Over 90 minutes, you’ll meet a range of birds of prey and learn about their varied hunting and flight patterns.
Learn to fly a raptor (hawk or buzzard) from the tree tops to your gloved hand, then do the same with an owl and compare the solid raptor to the deftness of an owl as it lands on your fist.
End your Shieldaig Experience with a chance to hold two birds of your choice (with plenty of opportunities for photographs), from the impressive Russian Steppe Eagle to the impossibly tiny Little Owl.
