To stay at Palé Hall is to be transported to another time and place. The Jacobean decor has stood the test of time, with original wooden bannisters, gilded frames and ornate four-poster beds. The elegance of Palé Hall was even fit for royalty in 1889 when Queen Victoria stayed in what is now the Victoria Room.

Stroll the vast, green grounds, curl up with a book in the cosy library, play a game of billiards and then indulge in a seven-course meal in one of Palé Hall’s magical dining rooms.

The crowning jewel of Palé Hall is its expansive estate featuring wild woodlands and manicured gardens. The owners take their responsibility to protect their environment seriously, and are committed to minimising their impact on their beautiful surroundings.

The hotel is powered by clean and completely carbon neutral energy from the estate’s hydro-electric generating plant, and the Head Chef has close relationships with local suppliers, carefully sourcing the most sustainable ingredients. This commitment earned Palé Hall Wales’ first ever Michelin Green Star for sustainability in 2021.

Subtle but attentive is the name of the game when it comes to service at Palé Hall. The staff here succeed in striking the elusive balance of being almost unnoticeable as they go about their work while always being on hand for whatever you need, whenever you need it.
